Great location, friendly staff, clean, cute room with a lovely outdoor bathroom. The small kitchen was handy for cooking a nice dinner. Perfect if you enjoy sharing your space with others.

Who needs a noise barrier between rooms? It's so much fun to hear every conversation and snore in Surround Sound!

My friends and I had the time of our lives at the Good Karma! The staff were super cool and helped us with everything. We rented bikes and explored the city like total badasses. Plus, the location was top-notch, right near all the best spots to party and have a great time!

The only thing I would've wanted is a sick rooftop bar for us young party animals to hang out and have a blast. Other than that, Good Karma was totally awesome!

The staff were very helpful and accommodating. The location was quiet yet close to tourist attractions. The breakfast, especially the big bowl of chopped fruit, was delicious. my recent stay in yogyakarta was amazing, but this time at good karma was even better. the staff made me feel at home and the cozy decor added to the charm. the breakfast was healthy and delicious, and the spacious bedrooms were a welcome retreat. i would definitely stay again!

Limited lunch and dinner options

The value for money at Good Karma was worth it. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and had a private bathroom with a unique open-air shower. The location was convenient, with several restaurants, ATMs, and convenience stores within walking distance. The staff treated us like family, going above and beyond to ensure our comfort and even arranging a discounted taxi to the airport for our early morning flight.

The breakfast could have been improved with a wider variety of options.

We had an amazing experience staying at Good Karma in Yogya. the staffs were very friendly and always ready to assist us with our queries. They even helped us with our luggage and provided us with all the information we needed. We loved the comfortable and nice rooms, as well as the complimentary coffee and tea. the location was also convenient, with a street nearby that had several restaurants, ATM, money changer, and convenience stores. it felt like a home away from home, and we absolutely enjoyed our stay. Plus, the location was perfect, within walking distance to all the attractions and there were plenty of great restaurants nearby. The cold shower in the female dorm, but you could easily use the hot water in the mixed dorm. , being able to hear the noise from the adjacent dorm was a bit bothersome.

The breakfast is varied and delicious, with a plate of fresh fruits prepared for guests. They also offer free coffee and tea 24/7.

The seats and lounge furniture in the common area are not very comfortable.

I recently stayed at Good Karma for 3 nights during my trip in Indonesia. The staff were friendly and welcoming, the place was cozy and colorfuly decorated, and the breakfast was healthy and delicious. The bedrooms and bathrooms were also clean and well-maintained. I especially loved the individual lights, plugs, and curtains for each bed. it was the best hostel I've stayed at during my trip and I would definitely stay there again.

The staff are helpful and chatty, giving great advice and offering day tours. As a solo female traveler, I felt safe and had a great time. The hostel itself is beautiful with lots of art and a GREAT hang out area. The breakfasts are delicious and filling. This is one of the best hostels I've stayed at!

The dorm room was spacious and the beds were situated apart from each other, providing a comfortable and private space. The hostel takes extra care to steam clean the mattresses after every guest, great for hygiene. The breakfast options were delicious, and the staff went out of their way to accommodate my gluten-free diet. They were also very helpful in planning our trips and giving advice on what to do and see. Although the location is somewhat away from the road entrance, the hostel staff recommended using the online transport system in Yogyakarta for easy navigation. I highly recommend this hostel for its cleanliness, friendly staff, and comfortable accommodations.
